Who is responsible for judging?
The members themselves are responsible for voting as this gives each member an opportunity to have a voice and give recognition to their peers.
Who votes for SAFFA Award Nominees?
The SSA members. Their votes decide who takes home the trophies, ensuring fairness and transparency in every category.
Who can be nominated?
Anyone can submit nominations to acknowledge remarkable stunt work, but only SAFFA Stunt Awards members participate in the voting process.
Can non-SAFFA members be nominated for awards?
Yes they can, but nominees and winners would need to become members.
What is the eligibilty criteria for award consideration?

What does the subscription fee cover, and what benefits do members receive?
The following are reasons why members pay an annual subscription fee:

SUPPORTING THE AWARDS: Hosting and organising awards ceremonies requires funding for venue rentals, equipment, marketing, trophies, administrative costs and more. Charging membership fees helps cover some of these expenses, ensuring the sustainability of the awards program and success of the event.

INVESTMENT IN THE INDUSTRY: By paying membership fees, stunt performers and stunt crew demonstrate their commitment tot the industry and its development. This investment can contribute to the growth and professionalism of the stunt community in South Africa.

VOTING RIGHTS AND ELIGIBILITY: Becoming a member of the SSA, you are given the right to vote for nominees and winners, as well as eligibility for consideration in various award categories. This involvement allows stunt crews to have a say in the recognition of their peers and potentially gain recognition for their own work.

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO RESOURCES: Membership fees could provide access to resources and services that benefit stunt performers and stunt crews, such as the award ceremony, networking events, training workshops and professional development opportunities. These resources can help members improve their skills and advance their careers.

Upon completing the membership process, members will recieve their login details which allows them to login to the website. This is where they will be able to submit their footage for submission. Only members will be able to see the nominees and be able to vote. Members will also receive their welcoming gift packages after becoming an official SSA member.

SSA Members receive 2 complimentary tickets to the award ceremony.
